Some of the Engineers were nice enough to volunteer the Cadet to give tours of the Engine Room. Cat and I had ours this morning - I can't remember what half the stuff does, but I know it either provides water, treats sewage, heats or cools water, converts water .. then there are the engines themselves. Holy hell - it was hot as HELL in there .. and louder than standing next to an airplane

Cool stuff Stacy, it looked pretty interesting and it's always good to see how things work, glad you got to do this.
Probably makes you happy you got a job in a nice comfy internet cafe rather than down in the engine rooms! LOL
